Requirements

• A relevant tertiary qualification preferably a B degree or National

Diploma

• 8 years’ relevant experience with 3 years supervisory experience
• Proficient Computer Literacy: MS Office
• Incumbent must be prepared to work outside of normal working

hours and at various geographic locations throughout the City

• Drivers licence with reliable own vehicle.

Key Performance Areas

• Manages, co-ordinates and administers the Community, Arts &

Culture Development functions, operations and services within a

sub-area

• Manages and develops the human resources in the sub area
• Ensures programme delivery through the implementation of

programmes related to: Early Childhood Development (ECD),

Youth Development, Reducing Rough Sleepers, Substance Abuse,

Gender, Vulnerable Groups

• Manages and maintains the City’s facilities and assets within the

area

• Plans, manages and controls the use of financial resources

assigned to the branch

• Manages projects, throughout the design, implementation

and evaluation phase

• Manages and maintains effective internal and external stakeholder

engagement

• Manages the administration related to the area of control
