POSITION INFO: Job Vacancy: General Worker Type: Temporary Location: JHB - Jet Park - Eastern Suburbs Region: Gauteng Job Purpose: The General Worker is responsible for supporting the efficient day-to-day operations of the warehouse by performing a variety of manual and operational tasks including receiving, handling storing , picking, packing , loading and housekeeping. The role ensures that goods are handled safely, accurately and in accordance with company procedure and health and safety standards Duties and Responsibilities Receive, unload, and inspect incoming stock. Sort, label, and store goods in designated warehouse locations. Pick and pack customer orders accurately. Load and offload vehicles safely. Assist with stock replenishment and inventory movement. Perform stock counts and assist with stocktakes. Maintain cleanliness and housekeeping in the warehouse. Report damaged stock, shortages, or safety hazards. Assist with wrapping, palletising, and preparing goods for dispatch. Operate basic warehouse equipment. Follow company policies and health regulations. Wear and maintain required personal protective equipment. Support other warehouse functions as needed. Requirements Grade 12 or equivalent. Clean criminal record. Good communication skills. 2-3 years of experience in a warehouse environment.
