Floor Supervisor

Job description:

The Floor Supervisor is responsible for overseeing daily store operations, supervising staff, maintaining high standards of customer service, and ensuring the sales floor is well-stocked, clean, and organized. The role involves leading team members, monitoring performance, resolving customer concerns, and supporting the achievement of store sales and operational targets.

Key Responsibilities:

· Supervise and support floor staff.

· Ensure excellent customer service.

· Monitor stock levels and shelf availability.

· Ensure shelves are clean, organised, and correctly priced.

· Assist with staff training and performance management.

· Handle customer queries and complaints.

· Support daily store operations, opening and closing procedures.

· Ensure compliance with health, safety, and company policies.

· Help achieve sales and store targets.

Minimum Requirements:

· Grade 12 / Matric.

· 2-3 years retail experience.

· Previous supervisory experience preferred.

· Strong leadership and communication skills.

· Good customer service skills.

· Basic computer literacy.

· Ability to work under pressure.

· Good organizational and problem-solving skills.

· Willingness to work shifts, weekends, and public holidays.

· Reliable, honest, and team-oriented
