LOCATION Gauteng
JOB SUMMARY:
The Fleet Coordinator is responsible for the day-to-day management, scheduling, and compliance of company vehicles to ensure safe, efficient, and cost-effective fleet operations.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
Operations
Coordinate vehicle allocation, scheduling, and utilization
Monitor vehicle maintenance, servicing, inspections, and repairs
Ensure fleet compliance with legal, safety, and company requirements
Maintain accurate fleet records (registrations, insurance, licenses, fuel, mileage)
Coordinate with drivers, employees, and service providers
Track fuel usage, costs, and fleet performance metrics
Handle accident reports, claims, and incident documentation
Support fleet cost control and optimization initiatives
Prepare fleet reports and support audits
MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS
Qualifications
Grade 12/Matric
Diploma or Bachelor’s degree in logistics, transportation, or a related field (preferred)
2–5 years of experience in fleet or transport coordination
Knowledge of local transport regulations and compliance requirements
Valid driver’s license (preferred)
Knowledge, Skills & Experience and Job-Related Competencies:
Strong organizational and coordination skills
Knowledge of fleet operations, vehicle maintenance, and safety standards
Good communication and stakeholder management skills
Attention to detail and record-keeping accuracy
Problem-solving and decision-making ability
Proficiency in MS Excel and fleet management systems
