Job description
At Jonsson Workwear, we go to great lengths to ensure our business runs with the same level of consistency and precision as the product we deliver. Behind this is a team that takes ownership, pays attention to detail, and keeps things working as they should.
Supporting this environment requires hands-on involvement across both Finance and IT — from maintaining accurate financial processes to coordinating the systems and administration that support the business day to day. To strengthen this, we're looking for a Finance & IT Support to join our Durban-based HQ team.
This is an entry-level opportunity suited to a graduate who is keen to learn, take on responsibility, and get stuck in where needed. You'll work across both functions, supporting day-to-day finance activities while contributing to IT coordination and broader administrative requirements. Over time, you'll build a practical, behind-the-scenes understanding of how the business operates.
It's a hands-on role that requires someone who is curious, organised and willing to figure things out. Someone who takes ownership, communicates clearly, and follows through — able to manage a mix of responsibilities while maintaining accuracy and structure in their work.
As you grow into the role, you'll take on more responsibility and build a solid foundation across both Finance and IT.
As the Finance & IT Support, your key responsibilities will include:
- Supporting the execution of day-to-day finance processes, ensuring accuracy and attention to detail
- Assisting with financial data preparation, reporting and analysis across the finance function
- Coordinating basic IT-related support tasks, working closely with the IT team to ensure smooth execution
- Supporting administrative and coordination requirements across Finance and IT
- Managing diaries, scheduling meetings and ensuring effective use of time
- Taking structured meeting notes and tracking follow-up actions
- Coordinating travel bookings, meetings and general logistics
- Assisting across ad hoc finance and IT projects as required
- Maintaining organisation, structure and follow-through across all assigned responsibilities
In line with Jonsson Workwear's commitment to employment equity, applications from candidates from designated groups, as well as candidates with disabilities, are encouraged.
