Job description

Position: Finance Clerk

Our Finance team is looking for a positive team player who can add value to a dynamic team. We are looking for a detail-oriented and proactive Finance Clerk to join our finance team. We are working in the wholesale and retail environment.

The position is based in Salt Rock, servicing stores and suppliers across KZN.

Key Responsibilities:

· Process and maintain accurate transactions.

· Generate ad-hoc invoices.

· Reconcile general ledger accounts.

· Assist with general finance administration and filing.

· Ensure that stores have sent monthly reports.

· Support month-end processes and assist the finance team as required.

Requirements:

· Grade 12 / Matric (Finance or Accounting qualification an advantage).

· 2–3 years’ experience in debtors/finance within a wholesale, retail, or similar environment.

· Strong understanding of credit control processes.

· Proficiency in MS Office (Excel essential) and accounting software (e.g., Pastel, Sage, or similar).

· Excellent attention to detail, accuracy, and time management.

· Strong communication and negotiation skills.

Job Type: Full-time
Pay: R10k – R15k
