Educational Sales Representative
Work Location: South Africa (Regional coverage)

PRIMARY OBJECTIVE
Build a robust ecosystem of educational institutes, professionals, and students to drive enrolments, product ecosystems, and ecosystem expansions.
POSITION OVERVIEW
We are seeking a high-performing Educational Sales Representative to build and expand a strong educational ecosystem across South Africa. This role goes beyond traditional sales and focuses on strategic relationship building, institutional partnerships, and long-term network development across education, healthcare, and professional sectors.
The successful candidate will act as a key driver of growth by connecting institutions, professionals, and learners into a scalable learning and product ecosystem.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
Ecosystem & Network Development
- Build and maintain strategic relationships with schools, universities, colleges, professional bodies, salons, beauty clinic groups, healthcare organisations, and medical aesthetic practices.
- Develop long-term partnerships that support continuous engagement and ecosystem expansion.
Lead Generation & Pipeline Management
- Identify, qualify, and convert leads across multiple revenue streams.
- Manage a structured sales pipeline from prospecting through to closure.
- Maintain consistent follow-up and engagement with potential clients.
Consultative Sales & Solutions Presentation
- Present educational offerings, digital learning platforms, and business solutions to institutional decision-makers and individuals.
- Tailor solutions to meet the needs of diverse stakeholders across education and healthcare environments.
Brand Representation & Market Engagement
- Represent the organisation at educational expos, industry events, conferences, and networking forums.
- Act as a professional brand ambassador, strengthening visibility and credibility in the market.
CRM & Data Discipline
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date CRM records of all engagements, pipeline activity, and client interactions.
- Ensure consistent reporting and tracking of sales progress and opportunities.
KEY PERFORMANCE AREAS
Performance is measured across five strategic growth areas:

Learner & Student Growth: Drive consistent enrolment growth through institutional and direct engagement channels.

Product & Ecosystem Sales: Contribute to overall revenue through educational materials, kits, and digital learning solutions.

Subscription & Digital Adoption: Grow usage and adoption of digital learning platforms and recurring institutional tools.

Referral & Healthcare Network Expansion: Generate qualified referrals through clinics, healthcare practices, and partner organisations.

Franchise & Strategic Partnership Development: Identify and qualify franchise and expansion opportunities for executive review.
Performance Accountability
- Daily: CRM updates of all calls, emails, and meetings before 17:00.
- Weekly: Pipeline review meeting with the Reporting Manager to identify bottlenecks.
- Monthly: Formal performance review against target quotas.
- Underperformance: Missing targets for two consecutive months trigger an immediate 30-day Performance Improvement Plan (PIP).
ACTIVITY TARGETS
To support success in the role, representatives are expected to maintain:
- Consistent outbound engagement through calls, digital outreach, and networking
- Regular qualification and conversion of new leads
- Scheduled meetings with institutional and commercial stakeholders
- Active participation in industry and networking events
COMPENSATION STRUCTURE
This is a performance-driven role with a competitive base salary and uncapped earning potential linked to results.
