Overview:
We are looking for a talented and motivated Developer to join Stormcraft Studios. In this role, you will design, build, and maintain slot games using our proprietary JavaScript-based game engine, turning creative concepts into polished, high-quality player experiences.
You'll work with modern development tools, including AI-assisted workflows, to write clean, scalable code and deliver innovative, practical solutions. Working closely with stakeholders across the studio, you'll help drive efficiency, collaboration, and continuous improvement. Responsibilities:
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to gather and analyse requirements
- Design, develop, and maintain software applications, ensuring adherence to coding standards and best practices
- Develop and maintain APIs, integrations, and connectors to enhance system functionalities
- Design, develop, and implement business process automation solutions to streamline operations and improve efficiency
- Lead the integration of diverse IT systems to ensure seamless data flow and functionality across platforms
- Develop custom applications using a blend of low-code and pro-code approaches
- Collaborate closely with business stakeholders to identify opportunities for innovation and improvement through technology
- Explore and implement AI-driven solutions to further enhance automation, predictive analytics, and decision-making processes
- Stay updated on emerging technologies and trends, driving their adoption where appropriate to enhance the organisation’s technological capabilities
- Conduct thorough testing and debugging of software applications to ensure quality and reliability
- Troubleshoot and resolve issues, performing root cause analysis when necessary
- Ensure timely completion of assigned projects and deliverables
- Provide technical guidance to peers and stakeholders of varying technical capability
- Lead design discussions for solutions in his/her remit
- Participate in process reviews to ensure technical feasibility and understanding of the process being automated
- Research and prototype of new tools and technologies, including required documentation
- Teach, coach or mentor others to improve organisational outcomes using automation AI and Automation tools for new Tools or Applications, establish logging, monitoring and observability requirements and solutions.
Qualifications:
- Minimum 3 year relevant qualification and at least 5 years software development experience.
OR
- Relevant 1 year certification and at least 7 years software development experience
OR
- Minimum 8 years software development experience
- Proficiency in programming languages such as JavaScript and C#
- Experience working with event-based architectures and associated infrastructure patterns
- Agile practices (such as scrums/sprints, customer journey mapping, kanban, backlogs).
- Experience in collaborating with cross-functional teams, including business stakeholders, operations, and executive leadership
- Solid knowledge of API development and integration techniques
- Working in an environment that complies with IS27001 preferred
- Familiarity with cloud computing platforms, preferably Microsoft Azure
