About the Role
The Debi Check Administrator plays a crucial role in the management and oversight of electronic payment processes, ensuring accuracy and compliance within the Debi Check framework. You will focus on maintaining seamless transactions and addressing any discrepancies while serving as a key point of contact between clients and financial institutions.
Key Responsibilities
- Monitor and manage Debi Check transactions to ensure accurate and timely processing.
- Validate and reconcile payment data to maintain the integrity of financial records.
- Investigate and resolve discrepancies or disputes related to electronic payments promptly.
- Liaise with clients to provide support and guidance on Debi Check processes and issues.
- Prepare regular reports on transaction statuses, exceptions, and system performance.
- Collaborate with internal teams to continuously improve processes and enhance service delivery.
- Ensure compliance with relevant regulations and industry standards regarding electronic payments.
- Assist in training new team members on Debi Check procedures and best practices.
Requirements
- Proven experience in financial administration or payment processing, with a focus on electronic transactions.
- Strong analytical skills with excellent attention to detail to identify discrepancies and issues.
- Proficient in relevant software and systems used for payment processing and data management.
- Demonstrable ability to communicate effectively with clients and team members.
- High level of integrity and confidentiality when handling sensitive financial information.
Preferred Qualifications
- Relevant certifications in payments or financial services.
- Familiarity with South African financial regulations and Debi Check processes.
- Experience in customer service or client-facing roles within the financial sector.
