Client Service Consultant

Role Purpose

To engage with prospective clients, introduce and position financial value proposition, and convert leads into confirmed appointments for outbound advisors.

This is not a hard sales role, but requires strong client engagement, persuasion, and communication skills.

Key Responsibilities

• Contact and engage existing and prospective leads provided
• Present and “high-level pitch” value proposition and rewards
• Create client interest and secure commitment for face-to-face/telephone meetings
• Convert 50–60% of leads into booked appointments
• Ensure all leads are tracked, updated, and maintained in the pipeline daily
• Deliver exceptional client service aligned to banking standards
• Provide accurate reporting on performance, leads, and conversions
• Take ownership of personal performance and development

Ideal Candidate Profile

• Banking experience is critical
• Candidates who have worked across multiple banks will be beneficial
• Mature, self-managed, and professional individuals
• Strong communication, influencing, and relationship-building skills
• Comfortable working with targets and client engagement metrics

Minimum Requirements

• Qualification: NQF Level 5 preferred
• FAIS: Not required
• Prior experience in client engagement / call centre / banking environment
