Chief Security Officer

Key Responsibilities

• Develop and implement the organization's security policies, procedures, and standards.
• Lead and manage all physical security operations across multiple sites or business units.
• Conduct security risk assessments and implement mitigation strategies.
• Oversee investigations involving theft, fraud, misconduct, security breaches, and other incidents.
• Develop emergency response, crisis management, and business continuity plans.
• Ensure compliance with applicable laws, regulations, and industry security standards.
• Manage security budgets, contracts, and relationships with security service providers.
• Recruit, train, mentor, and evaluate security managers, supervisors, and officers.
• Coordinate with law enforcement, emergency services, government agencies, and other external stakeholders.
• Oversee access control, CCTV surveillance, alarm systems, and other security technologies.
• Monitor emerging security threats and recommend improvements to organizational security measures.
• Prepare executive reports on security performance, incidents, and risk management initiatives.
• Promote a culture of safety, security awareness, and regulatory compliance throughout the organization.

Pay: R30 000,00 - R40 000,00 per month
