Duties & Responsibilities

• Tracking and tracing of trucks (tracking system, radio, cell phone)
• Updating daily planner continuously with live tracking updates
• Secure import/ export stacking appointments
• Pre-advise export containers
• Control (VGM) weigh scale bridge daily processing, filling and weekly reporting
• Monitoring yard stock
• General assistance as defined by manager
• Attend to any reasonable instruction by manager

Desired Experience & Qualification

Minimum Academic and Professional Qualifications and Experience Required for this position.

• Grade 12
• 1 years’ experience in a logistics environment tracking and tracing trucks
• 2 years’ experience in administrative work in a logistics environment
• Confident approach
• Able to communicate effectively across spectrum of departments
• Computer literate
• Willingness to learn
• Accuracy
