Call Centre Agent

Our towing company is looking for a reliable, professional and customer-focused Call Taker / Call Centre Agent to join our team.

Key Responsibilities:

• Answer incoming customer calls in a professional manner.
• Handle customer requests for towing and roadside assistance requests and record details correctly.
• Communicate effectively with drivers, customers.
• Capture and update information on computer systems and Excel
• Handle multiple calls and requests in a fast-paced environment
• Provide excellent customer service at all times
• Assist with after-hours, standby and weekend operations

Minimum Requirements

• Grade 12 certificate or equivalent.
• 1 – 2 years experience in a call centre environment.
• Availability to work standby shifts and weekends.
• Excellent communication skills both written and verbal.
• Fully bilingual in English and Afrikaans.
• Fully computer literate with proven Excel and Microsoft Word experience.
• Ability to multitask and handle pressure.
• Previous experience in a towing environment would be an added advantage.
