Business Development (Sales) Consultant

Our Company, with its head office in Randburg, has available positions for highly motivated, results-driven Business Development (Sales) Consultants based in JHB, PTA, DURBAN, CAPE TOWN AND BLOEMFONTEIN to actively seek out and engage customer prospects in the Prepaid Submetering Sector. We are in the business of prepaid meters (electrical, water & gas). You will be sourcing business from landlords, body corporates, and managing agents.

You will provide complete and appropriate solutions for every customer in order to boost top-line revenue growth, customer acquisition levels, and profitability.

Highly motivated and target-driven with a proven track record in outbound sales

• Sales experience is essential!
• Experience in prepaid metering and or prepaid submetering is non-negotiable
• 3 Years of proven experience in cold calling
• Excellent selling, communication, and negotiation skills
• Ability to source own leads
• Experience in meeting with potential clients, sourcing solutions, quoting, and securing the sale
• Prioritizing, time management, and organizational skills
• Verifiable experience in negotiation skills - not negotiable
• Verifiable experience in closing deals - not negotiable
• Experience with Google Suite is an advantage
• Ability to work under pressure and meet targets monthly and quarterly
• MUST be Fluent in English and, if possible, a second language.
• Computer-literate and able to learn new computer software easily
• Willingness to learn our processes, follow these processes, and understand the industry
• Must be a South African Citizen or possess a valid work permit.
• Possess a valid driver’s license
