Business Development & Content Coordinator

Job Summary

We are seeking a motivated and results-driven Business Development & Content Coordinator to support the growth of our software development and digital services business. The successful candidate will be responsible for identifying and pursuing new business opportunities while also managing website content updates for an existing client using Drupal CMS.

This role is ideal for someone who enjoys sales, business development, and working with digital platforms. The position offers the opportunity to contribute directly to company growth while gaining experience within the software development and digital services industry.

Key Responsibilities

Business Development

  • Identify and pursue new business opportunities for software development, web development, and digital services.
  • Generate and qualify leads through networking, referrals, online outreach, and other business development activities.
  • Schedule and coordinate meetings with prospective clients.
  • Prepare proposals, quotations, and supporting sales documentation.
  • Follow up on prospects and manage opportunities through the sales pipeline.
  • Maintain accurate records of sales activities and business opportunities.
  • Work closely with the company director and technical team to understand client requirements and proposed solutions.
  • Contribute to achieving company sales and revenue growth targets.

Drupal Content Management

  • Update and maintain website content using Drupal CMS.
  • Publish, edit, and review website content for accuracy and consistency.
  • Implement content changes provided by clients or internal stakeholders.
  • Perform basic quality assurance checks on website content and functionality.
  • Ensure content updates are completed accurately and within agreed timelines.
  • Maintain content standards and consistency across website pages.

Required Skills & Experience

  • 2–4 years of experience in business development, sales, lead generation, or a related role.
  • Experience within a software development, digital agency, web development, IT services, or technology-related environment will be advantageous.
  • Experience using CRM systems and sales tracking tools is beneficial.
  • Experience working with content management systems such as Drupal, WordPress, or similar platforms is advantageous.

  • Self-motivated with the ability to work independently.

Success Measures

  • Number of qualified leads generated.
  • Value of new business opportunities created.
  • Revenue generated from new client engagements.
  • Accuracy and timeliness of Drupal content updates.
  • Achievement of agreed sales and business development targets.

Commission Structure

In addition to the base salary, the successful candidate will be eligible for a commission incentive based on new business generated and converted into signed client engagements. Full commission details will be discussed during the interview process.

Pay: R15 000,00 - R25 000,00 per month

Work Location: Hybrid remote in Pretoria, Gauteng
