Boiler Specialist

Redheads Engineering Group is assisting its client in the pulp and paper

industry to find a suitable Boiler Specialist. The purpose for this role is

to be the point of contact for customers and for Product Home to

support and secure after-sales business for the company's boilers and

3rd party installations in the respective country considering boiler

service product portfolio being spare and wear parts, shutdown services

(planning, execution, and inspections) and providing shutdown works

including agreements with sub-suppliers and local contractors.

Qualifications and experience:

• BSc Mechanical Engineering

• 10 years post-graduation experience in boiler plant maintenance and operations

Tasks and Responsibilities:

• Spare and wear parts offering, selling and execution of spare and wear parts supported by product home (actively, based on findings from inspections and reactive based on customer’s RFQ)

• Shutdown services and works support offering and executing service packages, including services such as mechanical inspection, operational review

• Support offering and executing shutdown planning and execution/supervision/advisory of works on site

• Technical and commercial discussions with customers and local suppliers

• Support on sourcing in country/region for shutdown works on own engineered parts such as boiler pressure parts or nozzle grid covering workshop and on-site installation

• Support of setup to organize of shutdown works for equipment delivered from Europe

Site Supervisor: Supervise and control the work so that installation is done according to technical specifications and time schedule as well required quality are met with the targets:

• Safety: Zero accidents or lost time injuries

• Costs: Installation completed within the budget

• Schedule: Contractual milestones are met

• Quality: Contractual requirements and customer expectations punctually met and documented
