Assistant Credit Manager

Agrinet is seeking an Assistant Credit Manager to manage the accounts receivable function, oversee credit risk, support cash flow through effective collections, and ensure compliance with company credit policies.

Responsibilities:

• Manage the company's credit and collections processes, ensuring compliance with credit policies and minimising financial risk.

• Assess credit applications, approve credit within authorised limits, and monitor customer accounts to reduce bad debt and improve collections.

• Build and maintain strong relationships with customers and internal sales teams by resolving credit-related queries and supporting business objectives.

• Prepare accurate financial reports, account reconciliations, and cashflow information while identifying opportunities to improve credit processes and compliance.

• Oversee invoice processing, rebates, transport costs, and account reconciliations to ensure financial accuracy.

• Lead and support the credit team by providing guidance, ensuring compliance with company procedures, and driving high performance.

• Minimum 5 years' experience in credit and collections, including direct customer interaction.

• At least 3 years' supervisory experience in a service environment (preferred).

• Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Office.

• Sound knowledge of credit legislation, credit processes, and credit collection practices.
