Accountant Assistant, Cloud-Based Accounting

My Client seeks a proactive and detail-driven Junior Accountant to join their finance team. This role offers exposure to diverse accounting functions and the opportunity to grow within a supportive environment.

Minimum Requirements:

• Sound knowledge of cloud-based accounting systems
• Experience in preparing management reports up to trial balance
• Working knowledge of taxation and SARS e-filing

Advantageous:

• Completed qualification in Finance (Diploma/Degree)
• Solid experience in a similar accounting role

Key Responsibilities:

• Maintain accurate financial records and ensure compliance with reporting standards
• Prepare management accounts and reconciliations up to trial balance
• Handle taxation processes and submissions via SARS e-filing
• Support the finance team with day-to-day accounting tasks
