Job description
Job Purpose:
The AC Electrician will be responsible for installing, maintaining, and troubleshooting electrical systems within renewable energy projects, ensuring compliance with safety and industry standards.
Key Responsibilities:
- Install and maintain AC electrical systems for solar and renewable energy projects
- Conduct wiring, testing, and fault-finding on grid connections
- Ensure compliance with electrical codes and safety regulations
- Perform routine inspections and preventative maintenance
- Support project teams with technical expertise
Requirements:
- Trade qualification or certification as an Electrician
- Proven experience in renewable energy installations (solar, wind, or hybrid systems)
- Strong knowledge of AC systems and grid integration
- Ability to work independently and in project teams
- Excellent problem-solving and troubleshooting skills
